Omar Pea has won the City of Pflugerville City Council Place seat, according to unofficial results, according to Travis County and Williamson County officials.
With all the polls in both counties reporting, reports show that Pea carried 56.7 percent of the vote, Tom Anker took 23.4 percent and David Prout 19.9 percent.
"I want to thank Tom and David for a really good race, and I want to thank the citizens of Pflugerville who came out to vote," Pea said. "There are a lot of things and opportunities coming into the city that we really want to take advantage of as we move forward."

With 149 of 207 precincts reporting, Omar Pea continues to lead the race for the City of Pflugerville City Council Place 3 seat.
According to the early results, Pea has earned 56.43 percent of the vote with challenger Tom Anker taking 23.33 percent and David Prout 20.24 percent.

According to early polling results, Omar Pea leads voting for the City of Pflugerville City Council Place 3 election. Pea took 55.52 percent of the early votes, versus 24.29 percent for Tom Anker and 20.20 percent for David Prout.
The winner of the election will take over the seat on the council vacated by Darelle White.
Anker is a project manager for a home building company and serves as chairman of the Pflugerville Planning and Zoning Commission. Pea works for IBM and serves as president of the Pflugerville Economic Development Corp. Prout works in information technology and says he was motivated to run for council after he received high city utility bills.
Incumbent Mayor Pro Tem Victor Gonzales ran unopposed for Place 5. Pflugerville City Council members serve three-year terms.
