Anthony Moline agreed Oct. 22 to become the next Cedar Park Chamber of Commerce president and CEO.
Moline will step down as the Coppell Chamber of Commerce president and CEO, a post he has held since 2011, to assume Cedar Park's top spot. He replaces Harold Dean, who stepped down April 30 to accept the president and CEO position with the Kerrville Chamber of Commerce.
Moline is expected to start in Cedar Park on Nov. 26, interim President and CEO Wayne Witzsche said. Witzsche will stay on staff at least until then, he said, to allow for a smooth transition.
Moline was among a second batch of applicants to apply for the position, Witzsche said, after the search committee's initial selection, Jenna Armstrong of the Lake Houston Area Chamber of Commerce, accepted the post July 11 before withdrawing her interest in August.
"I think [Moline's] got all the credentials to do an excellent job," Witzsche said.
Prior to his work in Coppell, Moline worked in membership development and retention for the Lufkin Chamber of Commerce. His experience also includes coordinating a wide range of special events.
