Two places on the Hutto ISD board of trustees are up for election. Members serve three-year terms, and all the places on the school board are at-large.
Byron McDaniel*
Byron McDaniel is running for a third term on the Hutto ISD board of trustees. He has two children attending Hutto schools and one who has already graduated. McDaniel said his background in serving the district and the understanding he has gained of education issues makes him a good candidate for the position.

Philip Boutwell*
This is Philip Boutwell's fourth year on the school board. He said he is running for re-election so he can help explain state education funding and how it affects Hutto ISD to members of the community.

Shamra Brown
Shamra Brown has been a resident of the school district for about six years. With five children who attend Hutto schools, Brown said she is involved in the district and understands what is taking place. She owns a day care center in Hutto and has been in the child care business since 2005.

Tate Lee Sellers
Tate Lee Sellers was born in Fort Worth and served 10 years in the U.S. Navy. Sellers has two children and said the school board position will allow him to further serve the community.

Stephen R. Konze Jr.
Six of Stephen R. Konze Jr.'s eight children currently attend Hutto ISD, and the other two have already graduated. Konze's community involvement includes his position as the concession manager for the Hutto High School band booster club.
