Trader Joe's has announced it will open its Woodlands store on Friday, June 15 at 8 a.m. The 13,500-square-foot store is currently under construction in The Woodlands Crossing Shopping Center at the southeast corner of Woodlands Parkway and Kuykendahl Road.
The Woodlands store is the first of two Trader Joe's stores opening in Texas. The other location is in Forth Worth and opening the same day.
Trader Joe's is dubbed as a "unique, neighborhood grocery store with foods and beverages from the exotic to the basic," according to a release. The store carries an extensive array of domestic and imported foods and beverages, including fresh-baked artisan breads, Arabica bean coffees, international frozen entrees, juices, fresh crop nuts, deli items and basics such as milk and eggs.
The store also offers its private label brand which includes Trader Jose's salsas, Trader Ming's fried rice, Trader Giotto's marinara sauces and specially purchased items.
