1. Back to School Bash
Get ready to go back to school at this festival hosted by Montgomery County Market Days. The festival will include live music, food trucks, shopping from local vendors and family activities.
2. Jeep Day
Jeep enthusiasts can head to Big Rivers Waterpark & Adventures to enjoy specialty Jeep-themed cocktails and compete for awards, including biggest Jeep group and best classic Jeep. Jeep drivers receive free admission.
3. Horses & Heroes
The MCF Motorcycle Club Lonestar Chapter will host this inaugural event featuring live music, food trucks, and live and silent auctions. Proceeds will benefit Soleana Stables’ Horses for Heroes Program, which provides equine therapy for veterans and individuals with disabilities.
4. Beat the Heat
This family- and pet-friendly indoor artisan market will feature shopping and cold drinks. Hosted by Makers Collective Markets, the first 20 patrons will receive a free tote bag.
5. CPR Class
Earn a two-year CPR certification at this monthly class held by the Porter Fire Department. The cost of the class includes books, a portable resuscitator mask, an oxygen inlet kit, training and a certificate of completion. Written and physical exams are required.
6. Aloha Beach Day
Guests age 21 and up can expect an island-style night complete with fire dancers, authentic Hawaiian performances, a live DJ and specialty cocktails and tropical food offerings. Select water park attractions will be open after hours.
7. Flooded with Love Benefit Concert
This third annual benefit concert hosted by H-Town Dream Center will feature performances by Jenna Paulette, Sundance Head and Jason Cassidy. Proceeds will benefit the Flooded with Love Disaster Relief Fund. Limited VIP tables and sponsorship opportunities are available.
8. New Caney Community Market
Shop for local produce, meats, honey, baked goods and artisan products at this market held on the first and third Sunday of the month in the Valley Ranch Town Center parking lot.
9. Adult Horror Movie Night
Adults age 18 and older can enjoy a screening of the 2024 R-rated movie “Alien: Romulus” in the large meeting room of the R.B. Tullis Library.
10. CityWide Impact Classic & Custom Car Show
In addition to a classic and custom car show, this inaugural event will feature a toy drive, live music, food, local vendors, family-friendly activities, awards and raffle prizes. Proceeds will benefit the CityWide Impact Community Impact Fund.
