Why are you running for office?

I’m running to support responsible growth and ensure our community is prepared for the future. In my work, I’ve seen how job opportunities and workforce readiness impact families. As East Montgomery County grows, we need leadership focused on long-term planning and opportunity.

If elected, what will be your top priorities?

My top priorities are responsible growth, workforce development, and fiscal accountability. With my background, I understand how businesses grow and hire. I want to attract quality employers, support local jobs, and ensure investments create real opportunities for our residents.

What are the biggest challenges facing East Montgomery County?

Key challenges include rapid growth, infrastructure needs, and ensuring residents are prepared for new job opportunities. We must align development with workforce readiness and create more opportunities for families, including activities that keep youth engaged and connected.

How will you help manage growth in East Montgomery County?

I will support thoughtful planning and investments that attract responsible development. Growth should align with workforce needs so residents can benefit from new opportunities. Planning ahead ensures we support both businesses and the people who live here.

How will you involve residents in the decision making process?

Many residents are not familiar with the District. I will support clear communication and encourage input. In my work, I’ve seen the importance of listening and explaining decisions clearly so people understand how growth and investment impact their daily lives.

Why are you running for office?

I have a strong love for this community and have seen it grow and change in many ways, and it’s amazing to see. The progress is heading north to the Splendora area. I’d like to help steer the business growth while maintaining the relationships with our small local establishments.

If elected, what will be your top priorities?

Continue to provide leadership in decision-making and fairly represent the constituents of the district. Help steer long-term growth in ways that benefit the community for generations. Continue to work with youth-oriented organizations like the FFA and sports leagues to ensure our children have a great community to live in.

What are the biggest challenges facing East Montgomery County?

The area’s biggest challenges can’t necessarily be mitigated through EMCID, since our legislation dictates our specific purpose. But with growth comes issues like trafficability and crime. Montgomery County has great systems in place, good leaders, and a growing revenue base to help solve some of these issues.

Why are you running for office?

EMCID spans 158 square miles, and every part deserves a voice. I’m running to bring accountability, cut wasteful spending, and ensure responsible financial management. By prioritizing public safety, infrastructure, and community improvements like green spaces and beautification, we can deliver real results residents can see.

If elected, what will be your top priorities?

I want to prioritize public safety, critical infrastructure, and long-term maintenance. Funds must be managed responsibly, reducing waste and maximizing impact. Investments in roads, drainage, and emergency services come first, followed by parks, green spaces, and beautification. Bylaws should be changed to accommodate these necessities for quality-of-life.

What are the biggest challenges facing East Montgomery County?

We must use common sense, supporting the demands of our community. By simply looking at our traffic jams and increase in crime, we must address rising demands for infrastructure, public safety, and responsible growth. Leaders must balance immediate needs with long-term planning to support sustainable development and ensure resources.

How will you help manage growth in East Montgomery County?

EMCID should blend with elected officials/ businesses/ public for essential services to support a growing population. Transparent budgeting, long-term planning, and community input are vital. Investing in roads, utilities, and economic development to promote sustainable growth. If bylaws hinder priorities, leaders should work promptly to review and improve them.

How will you involve residents in the decision making process?

I will encourage public input while serving my community, promoting transparency, open communication, trust and accountability. Involving residents in discussions and planning helps leaders make informed decisions about spending. This approach supports responsible growth, strengthens community relationships, and ensures investments benefit the entire community both now and in the future.
