In June, construction is expected to wrap up on a new gas station and shopping center in New Caney, said Saqib Ali, president of project developer ArchPoint Ventures, via email April 14. A grand opening for the gas station will be held, and a date for the celebration will be announced soon.
The center will be called ArchPoint at 1485 and feature 14,000 square feet in retail space, as previously reported by Community Impact. Construction began in March 2025.
ArchPoint at 1485 also originally included a warehouse, however that plan has been scrapped, Ali said. Specific retailers for the shopping center will be announced soon, he added.
