1. Dolls Fitness Studio is now offering workout classes in Porter. Owner Amanda Reyes, a former elementary teacher with a lifelong passion for dance, launched Dolls Fitness Studio in 2009.
2. Owner Rodrigo Vargas said Rigorous Training opened May 25 and is now offering a variety of fitness training services in Porter. The training center offers class-based services for all skill levels including conditioning, cross training and strength training.
3. 99 Karate opened in New Caney in mid-May, according to information on the martial arts studio's Facebook page. The business is owned by Christian Auguste and his wife, Carley.

4. The Back Nine is expected to open this summer in New Caney, owners Darrin and Shawna Ballard confirmed via email June 3. Set to be open 24/7, the indoor golf simulator franchise is geared toward golfers of all skill levels and businesses seeking a venue for team-building and client collaborations.
5. The Highlands community plans to add a fitness center by the third quarter of 2027, Marketing Coordinator Cady Mulkey told Community Impact. Upon completion, residents can look forward to using The Highlands Fitness Center, which will include features such as rock climbing and a kids' area.
6. Taylored Fitness is expected to open a gym in Porter late this summer, owner Taylor Livoti confirmed May 24. Livoti—a former Division I volleyball athlete and educator—said she launched her personal training and nutrition coaching business from her two-car garage. Through referrals, the business has since outgrown the space, prompting Livoti to open a brick-and-mortar storefront.
