99 Karate opened in New Caney in mid-May, according to information on the martial arts studio's Facebook page.

The studio offers after-school and summer programs to teach children the fundamentals of karate in addition to evening classes for students of all ages, officials with the East Montgomery County Improvement District previously said.

As previously reported by Community Impact, the business is owned by Christian Auguste and his wife, Carley.
