1. Kutz 4 Kingz is now open in Rogers Premier Salon Suites in Valley Ranch Town Center. The business is owned by Joseph Luis Martin and offers haircuts for kids and adults, beard trims, hair designs, shampoo services and fades.

2. H-E-B officials are planning to open a new nearly 125,000-square-foot grocery store in Valley Ranch's Commerce District. The $45 million project will also include a fuel station and car wash.

The estimated opening date for Walk-On's Sports Bistreaux in Valley Ranch Town Center has been pushed from August to this fall, a spokesperson with Valley Ranch developer The Signorelli Co. confirmed via email June 25. Walk-On's offers a menu of Cajun and Creole dishes such as boom boom shrimp tacos, gumbo and fried alligator.4. An estimated opening date has been announced for the Qargo Coffee location that will be opening in Valley Ranch Town Center. The Italian-style cafe sells drinks, pastries, breakfast and lunch.

5. Officials with developer The Signorelli Co. unveiled plans for Valley Ranch's Commerce District via a July 14 news release. The 55-acre Commerce District will feature 400,000 square feet of commercial development and a 600-unit luxury multifamily community.6. In the third quarter of this year, construction is slated to begin on Marketplace—a 188-acre retail and shopping center—in Valley Ranch, a spokesperson for developer The Signorelli Co. confirmed via email June 25. Originally estimated to break ground this summer, Marketplace will be a walkable outdoor shopping center with a variety of local and national retailers and dining options.

The Village Green—a 20-acre social hub located in the Marketplace District of Valley Ranch—is expected to break ground within the next two to three years, a spokesperson for the project’s developer The Signorelli Co., confirmed via email June 25. The Village Green will feature 190,000 square feet of retail space and 40,000 square feet of office space.8. Yard 99—a waterside three-restaurant concept—is expected to break ground in the next two to three years in Valley Ranch in New Caney, a spokesperson with the project’s developer, The Signorelli Co., confirmed via email June 25. The project is still being designed, but will feature restaurants with open outdoor spaces that spill out onto the waterfront.
