Steak & BBQ Cook-Off
In addition to barbecue and steak cook-offs, this 39th annual event will also include an Anything Bacon Open competition, a Kids 'Que competition, a cornhole tournament and an awards ceremony.

Houston Money ShowOne of Houston's largest coin conventions of the year will take place at The Lone Star Convention Center this Saturday and Sunday. Attendees will have the opportunity to buy, sell and look at ancient and historical coins from around the world, along with other coin-related jewelry and educational exhibits.
The Ice Rink at The Woodlands Town CenterThe 21,000-square-foot multipurpose facility features ice skating and concessions. Admission includes two hours of skate time, and attendees can rent a helmet and walkers at an additional cost. The Ice Rink is open through Jan. 19, including this weekend.

Kingwood’s Back to the 80's FestThis throwback celebration will feature a hula-hoop contest, a best-dressed contest and a "biggest hair" contest, as well as live music, food and cocktails.
