A pet food and treat business is opening its first-ever storefront in downtown New Braunfels.
What residents should know
Ruff Town Rescue Boutique & Spa is planning to open at 297 W. San Antonio St. in February, Founder & Creative Director Nancy Hierl said in an email to Community Impact.
The store will be located in the building that was previously occupied by Staunch Traditional Outfitters which relocated up the street in October.
The specifics
Hierl and Marie Finger co-own the spa, which will feature two sections—one being a health and wellness spa for humans, and the other being solely for pets.
“That layout allowed us to create something special: a shared wellness destination for both people and their pets,” Hierl said.
Finger’s side of the spa will offer IV therapy, facials, hair restoration and weight loss treatments, while Hierl’s side of the business will offer pet treats and toys.
“We’ll offer a wide range of nutritious food options with an emphasis on raw feeding, a bone bar, toys, accessories, leashes and collars, plus an engraving bar where customers can create the perfect personalized gift for a dog mom or dad or spoil their own fur baby,” Hierl said.
