Headwaters at the Comal relocates offices in New Braunfels

Headwaters at the Comal moved its administrative offices into the center’s new building at 333 E. Klingemann St. in New Braunfels on Nov. 7, according to a news release.

The nonprofit organization is New Braunfels Utilities legacy project and is a public-private partnership showcasing green infrastructure and protection of the Comal River, as previously reported by Community Impact.

Previously, the nonprofit's administrative offices were temporarily located at the corner of E. Klingemann St. and Lakeview Blvd.

“We are working to completely transform this site into a place of which we can all be proud,” Managing Director Nancy Pappas said in the release.

The move is a part of Phase 2 of the nonprofit organization's $28.5 million master-planned expansion project. Phase 2 construction began in 2023 and will add a new building equipped with meeting space for up to 200 people, conference rooms and more space for classes and exhibits, according to previous reporting by Community Impact.

The third and final phase of the project has now begun. Phase 3 construction will be for a replica for the Edwards Aquifer ecosystem, Pappas told Community Impact.
