New Braunfels city facilities to close for Thanksgiving holiday

New Braunfels City Hall and other city facilities will be closed Nov. 28-29 in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.

The details

The following facilities will also be closed, according to Nov. 19 news release from the city:

• Municipal Court
• Public Library (Main branch and Westside branch)
• Civic & Convention Center
• Parks & Recreation administrative offices
• Landa Recreation Center
• Fischer Park Nature Education Center
• Solid Waste and Recycling administrative offices
• City Recycling Center

Also of note

Here are additional details regarding closures and service modifications:

• Residential garbage and recycling collection scheduled for Nov. 28 will shift to Nov. 29.
• Both the public library and the Westside Community Center will have modified hours on Nov. 27, from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. and 8:30 a.m.-6 p.m., respectively.
• Das Rec will be open on Nov. 27 from 5 a.m.-7 p.m., closed on Nov. 28, and open on Nov. 29 from 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
• The Landa Park Golf Course will be closed on Nov. 28 and will resume normal hours on Nov. 29.
