The number of pending COVID-19 tests in Comal County hit a new high less than a week after businesses began to reopen under Gov. Greg Abbott's executive orders.
New cases are not being confirmed at the same rate as the previous week, when there was a 21% jump, but they continue to trickle in for both Comal County and Guadalupe County.
Since Monday, seven cases were confirmed in Comal County and five were confirmed in Guadalupe County, bringing their totals to 65 and 90, respectively.
One of the new Comal patients is under the age of 18, and New Braunfels is home to 35 of the confirmed cases across both counties.
