Comal County announced another travel-related case of COVID-19 on Thursday, March 26, bringing the county total to eight.
The patient is in their 50s, lives in the western part of the county and began presenting symptoms after international travel, according to a press release.
There have been 111 tests sent away for processing and 69 have returned negative, as of 7 p.m. on March 25. That leaves 34 pending.
That is 33 more tests reported to the county's Office of Public Health since 7 p.m. on March 23. The rate at which tests are performed is expected to increase now that private testing is available.
