On Wednesday, Comal County's Office of Public health (OPH) reported four new cases of the coronavirus, with 14 active cases and three hospitalizations. The county has confirmed 87 cases since the pandemic arrived in mid-March.
Guadalupe County reported seven new cases, of which 28 are active. The county's total case count is 134.
Comal County and Guadalupe County reported 35 new cases of the coronavirus between May 20 and May 27, a 19% increase.
Of the 221 cases that have been reported in both counties, 28 were confirmed from March 18-31 when the pandemic began, 108 were confirmed in April, and 85 have been reported from May 1-27.
