A new dessert and coffee shop called The Cake Bar & Coffee Co. will be making its debut in downtown New Braunfels this April.
The details
The Cake Bar & Coffee Co. is owned by Debbie De La Cruz and her daughters, Katarina and Kasandra who also own and operate The Sweet Spot. The Sweet Spot began as a dessert food truck that operated out of New Braunfels in 2022 before moving into its first brick-and-mortar location in San Marcos in 2023. The Cake Bar & Coffee Co. will be located in the former Le Citron European Café & Bistro building at 173 S. Seguin Ave. Le Citron European Café & Bistro closed in February.
