The Sweet Spot, a New Braunfels-based dessert business, is making its way up I-35 with a new location in San Marcos.

The dessert shop, which began as a dessert food truck, is owned and operated by Debbie De La Cruz with her daughters, Katarina and Kasandra De La Cruz.

The Sweet Spot offers a variety of espresso and coffee beverages along with signature desserts, such as deep-fried tres leches, churro bites and mini pancakes.
