The locally owned plant shop and potting bar—which opened in June—is locally owned by Una Alexander, who said she relocated to the small lot behind The ARTitude Cottage after the gift shop's owner, Brandee Dickinson, reached out to see if she was interested.
"It's a big blessing. I couldn't be happier," Alexander told Community Impact.
What they offer
Plant Culture patrons can purchase an assortment of house plants. The shop also offers plant workshops and occasional plant rehabilitation services.
"We just try to work with people who love house plants and people who know a whole lot and people that don't know a whole lot," Alexander said.

Alexander said she is excited to be part of the community and that they also try to help promote local artists by selling their work in the shop.
"We feel like we're right where we belong," she said.
