Upcoming projects
1. Legacy Drive widening
Project: The project will build two lanes of Legacy Drive from Prosper Trail to a future Prosper ISD middle school, widen the roadway to four lanes near the school and construct a water line.
Update: Prosper Town Council approved a $6.1 million construction contract for the project at a May 19 meeting, and construction is expected to begin later this summer.
2. McKinney concrete panel replacement
Project: McKinney’s Roadstock project will replace damaged concrete panels and restripe Eldorado Parkway and Virginia Parkway.
Update: McKinney City Council approved an additional $1.2 million for the project at a May 5 meeting, and concrete panel replacement has started along Virginia Parkway.
Project: Custer Parkway will undergo street reconstruction from Campbell Road to Renner Road and street panel replacement from Renner Road to SH 190.
Update: Pavement replacements on multiple segments are underway, with several replacements expected to be complete in June.
Project: The project involves installing a three-lane undivided concrete pavement section from Park Vista Boulevard to Lauren Way and adding streetlights, sidewalks and stormwater drainage improvements.
Update: Keller Hicks Road has been reduced to one-way eastbound traffic from Park Vista Boulevard to Lauren Way for paving, which is expected to wrap up in early fall.
Project: Construction will add turn lanes and made intersection improvements from Main Street to SH 114 access roads across six phases.
Update: Most construction is complete, and crews are wrapping up work on traffic signals and signs.
