Oct. 30 | Run With Monsters

Orangetheory Fitness presents the third annual McKinney Monster Dash 5K that starts and ends at Tupps Brewery. Run or walk around the Historic McKinney Cotton Mill and be met at the finish line by local vendors and cold beer. Each participant will receive an event T-shirt, custom bib, swag bag and a finishers medal. Oct. 30 | Check Your Health

The Hope Clinic of McKinney will host a community health fair focused on women’s health. More than 20 vendors will set up around the clinic’s parking lot, offering services like blood pressure checks and blood sugar screenings. Pre-qualified individuals may also take advantage of free mammograms. Free Chick-fil-a lunch will be provided, and fair attendees may also purchase baked goods; proceeds will benefit the clinic. Nov. 3 | Learn Other Cultures

The John and Judy Gay Library hosts Multilingual Storytime every Wednesday. Children ages 3-5 read stories and sing songs in Spanish, Chinese, Hindi, German and more. Kids will have the opportunity to celebrate other cultures, enhance literacy skills and work together on a take-home craft. Nov. 6 | Support Local Artisans

St. Gabriel Women’s Club will host its 20th annual holiday boutique at the St. Gabriel Community Center. There will be vendor raffles throughout the day, lunch and a bake sale.
