1. First Friday Market and Music
District 121 is hosting an evening of live music and shopping with local vendors. The event is free and family-friendly.
2. Wetland Canoe Trails
Join a guided tour of the Heard wetlands in a canoe. No experience is necessary, as all participants will be given an introduction to canoeing that includes boat safety.
3. 29th Annual Chamber Golf Classic
The McKinney Chamber of Commerce is hosting a golf tournament at the Stonebridge Ranch Country Club. There will be two tee times, an online silent auction and a cocktail reception.
4. 2nd Saturday Bird Walk
The Heard Natural Science Museum and Wildlife Sanctuary will host an event to help beginning and intermediate birders with bird spotting and identification techniques.

5. Comic Con
The John and Judy Gay Library is hosting a Comic Con for fans of all ages. The event will include vendors, cosplay, costume contests and activities. Registration is required and opens April 11.
6. Historic McKinney Trolley Tour
Heritage Village at Chestnut Square is hosting a one-hour trolley tour that will take guests through McKinney’s Historic District.
7. Farmers Market
Shop for fresh, seasonal produce and homemade goods from 75 vendors in historic downtown McKinney.
8. Frank Family Wine Dinner
Enjoy a four-course meal paired with a guided wine tasting at Wine a Little. Attendees will sample wine from Frank Family Vineyards.
9. Paint and Sip
The McKinney Senior Recreation Center is hosting a Paint and Sip event. Art supplies will be provided with a $20 supply fee. Attendees must register by May 14.

10. 80’s Night at Tupps
Listen to Reanimate 1988 perform music from the '80s while enjoying beer, wine and cocktails from Tupps Brewery. Guests are encouraged to come to the event in 80’s attire.
11. McKinney Chupacabras
Watch McKinney’s semi-professional soccer team play at Ron Poe Stadium. Single-game tickets will go on sale April 15.
12. The CJ CUP Byron Nelson Golf Tournament
McKinney's TPC Craig Ranch is hosting a four-day golf tournament. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Momentous Institute, which provides mental health resources for children and families.
13. McKinney Literary Fest
The event includes a keynote speaker, panel discussions, author readings and opportunities to connect with writers and book lovers. Required registration opens May 2.
