Sushi, ice cream scoops: 6 Dallas-Fort Worth dining updates

The menu includes several entree options, including stir fry, udon noodle dishes, sushi rolls, soups and salads. Diners can also purchase an all-you-can-eat option for either adults or children ages 5-12, which includes all of the restaurant’s menu items. Children 5 years old and younger eat free.

The American-style restaurant serves pizza, wings, salads, sandwiches and more, according to its website. The restaurant also offers a self-pour tap wall that features 50 rotating taps of beer, wine, bourbon, whiskey and cocktails, and the menu also offers zero-proof options.

The business offers ice cream scoops in bowls and cones, and the cones are made in-house, owner Krishna Rupa said.
Ice Cream Labs offers several ice cream flavors, including cookie dough, banana pudding and butter pecan, along with mango and acai-flavored sorbet. Rupa said the company will host a grand opening event later this summer.

The coffee shop, which started as a coffee roastery in Colorado, replaces Communion Coffee Shop in the cooperative building.
“Community has always been central to what we do, and our goal is to bring that same slower-paced, hospitality-driven experience into the Dallas area without losing the quality and cafe that built the company originally,” owner Stephen Holmes said in an email.

5. Chick-fil-A sets opening date in Prosper
The new Prosper location will be owned and operated by Chris Wright, and it will be his second Chick-fil-A location. For the opening, guests who arrive dressed in cow spots or cow accessories on opening day can redeem a free entree or kids meal. Chick-fil-A offers sandwiches, strips, salads, sides, desserts and more.
This location marks the first of nine new Chick-fil-A restaurants expected to open in the metroplex throughout 2026, according to a company news release.
