Tupps Brewery officials have set a grand opening date for the business’s new location in East McKinney.

The grand opening event will take place over two days, Tupps Brewery representative Katie Baker said in an email.
The event will be held March 9 from 11 a.m.-10 p.m. and March 10 from noon-6 p.m. Attendees can enjoy live music, food trucks and more during the two-day celebration.
Businesses participating in the Build Your Own Business program at Tupps Brewery will also set up pop-up shops during the event, Baker said.
How we got here
The multimillion-dollar project is the product of a partnership between Tupps Brewery and the city of McKinney to create a destination on the city's east side.
Officials with Tupps Brewery, which is currently located at 721 Anderson St., broke ground on the new location in early 2022. The project has since seen delays due to global supply chain issues, owner Keith Lewis told Community Impact.
The new location will feature an outdoor bar and entertainment areas, in addition to a larger taproom and kitchen. The site will also have a larger production facility, increasing the business’s production capabilities.
Tupps Brewery’s new location will also feature a new cafe and coffee roastery concept from McKinney-based Lelo’s Coffee Co., as well as the East McKinney Learning Garden, a community learning garden.
The business’s current taproom on Anderson Street will remain open through Feb. 25, according to the business’s Facebook page.
