The Greater Tomball Area Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting Aug. 18 for a new six-hole disc golf course that was added to Harris County Precinct 4’s Spring Creek Park, located at 15012 Brown Road, Tomball. The course was added by Carter Monrad as an Eagle Scout project, GTACC President Bruce Hillegeist said. The course is located at the north end of the park. Spring Creek Park spans 114 acres and features additional amenities, including an archery range, playground equipment, hiking trails and sport courts. www.hcp4.net/parks
