Radunare—which means to gather or rally in Italian, according to a June release from the restaurant—was founded by Italian American Frank Morello and features a menu inspired by his family's Sicilian heritage.
“Because The Woodlands is a community centered around friends and family, it is an ideal location for Radunare in a close-knit area that embodies the traditions of working and playing together,” Morello said in the June statement. "My hope is that everyone feels Radunare is a place to gather with family and meet up with friends for a coffee, late afternoon snack, drinks and dinner or pick up a spaghetti supper, pizzas and salads to be enjoyed at home. I invite you to become honorary members of my large and boisterous family that cherishes togetherness and enjoys the privilege of sharing food."
The Italian American restaurant serves main plates for breakfast, lunch and dinner in addition to snacks, pizza and pastries. Beer, wine and cocktails are also offered. 281-465-8995. www.radunare.com
