The Woodlands Enrichment Center will open Jan. 7 at 25218 Grogans Park Drive, The Woodlands. The new center will combine the programming of Play Smarter Kids, Kindermusik and The Woodlands Academy of Music—all currently located in the same shopping center—under one roof. All three will close during the winter holidays and reopen in their new 6,000-square-foot space in January. Pre-enrollment began Nov. 5, according to a news release.

“Everyone involved in TWEC is focused on helping kids learn advanced concepts in an age-appropriate, relaxed way that keeps learning fun,” TWEC Director Aurora Clarke said in a statement. “We’re excited to offer our programs to more families. Our original story-based curriculum actually increases understanding and retention, and kids think they are playing and having fun.”

TWEC will offer preschool five days a week for children ages 18 months-6 years and enrichment classes for children ages 3-13 in the areas of science, art, cooking, technology, “Playbiotics,” theater arts, dance, gymnastics, martial arts, horseback riding and music, according to the release. Workshops, camps and special programs will also be offered on select weekends, school breaks and throughout the summer.

According to the release, TWEC will honor previous schedules and financial packages for current member families throughout the spring 2019 semester. An open house will be held Jan. 5 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. to unveil the new space to the public.
