French restaurant Aura Brasserie closed Jan. 1 at 15977 City Walk in Sugar Land Town Square. The space will be occupied by Vino and Vinyl wine bar by Feb. 14, according to an answering message for the former owner.

Run by Chef Frederic Perrier, Aura Brasserie started as a Missouri City dining spot before relocating to Sugar Land in 2012. Perrier also started Hoggs N’ Chicks restaurant in Missouri City.
