Memorial Hermann Sugar Land Hospital opened a new, six-story tower Sept. 7. The 155,000-square foot tower near the intersection of the Grand Parkway and Hwy. 59 has 60 patient beds, including 14 for the intensive care unit and 16 for a new intermediate care unit. The tower was part of a $93 million project that included renovations to the existing campus. The tower also has the capacity to add four more floors with up to 30 beds on each additional floor. www.memorialhermann.org/locations/sugar-land
