The Coppell, Texas-based indoor tanning company said in a press release it acquired Darque Tan salons in Houston, Austin, College Station and San Marcos as well as salons in Boston and Minneapolis/St. Paul. An Internet search for Darque Tan also confirmed the news.
The sale finalized on Nov. 12, and the newly acquired salons are now operating as Palm Beach Tan. The company now has more than 500 stores nationwide, according to the release.
The Sugar Land location at 3159 Hwy. 6 S., Ste A, is one of 44 salons involved in the sale.
Existing Darque Tan customer memberships will be transferred to Palm Beach Tan, and all previous commitments will be honored, according to the release.
