Visit Sugar Land and the Sugar Land Heritage Foundation is hosting a grand opening for the
Sugar Land Heritage Museum & Visitor Center Jan. 27 at 198 Kempner St., Sugar Land. The museum will remain at the historic Imperial Sugar site but is relocating to the second floor of Building B, which it will share with the city's visitor center and the Fort Bend Children's Discovery Center. The museum features the historic Sugar Land timeline exhibit with space for future exhibits. The grand opening celebration includes a ribbon cutting, music entertainment, activities for children, an art demonstration and prize drawings. 281-275-3020.
