SLTX Studio, a hands-on and interactive art space, officially opens March 16 at 16160 City Walk, Sugar Land. A grand opening party for guests age 21 and up will take place March 15 from 6-9 p.m. benefitting the Fort Bend Rainbow Room. The first exhibit, "The Whimsy World," is by Houston-based artist Shelbi Nicole and will be on display for six weeks on Thursdays from 3-8 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays from 11 a.m.-9 p.m., and Sundays from noon-6 p.m. The 3,302-square-foot studio in Sugar Land Town Square will feature installments from a rotation of artists and is owned and operated by Sugar Land Town Square.
