Texas Thrift Store plans to host its grand opening celebration Aug. 27 at 2325 FM 1960 Road W., Houston, from 9 a.m.-9 p.m. The store held a soft opening earlier in August and will be giving away a 32-inch flat screen TV every hour throughout the celebration with a ribbon cutting at 2 p.m., according to its Facebook page.
