The Melt, a California-based restaurant specializing in grilled cheese sandwiches and cheeseburgers, closed at 10111 Louetta Road, Ste. 800, Houston, in January. The restaurant had opened in March 2017. A lockout notice was posted on the restaurant's door on Jan. 31 from the leasing company, Read King, and a spokesperson for The Melt confirmed the restaurant closed with no plans to reopen or relocate.
