Louisiana-based eatery The Jambalaya Shoppe is planning on opening its first location outside of Louisiana at 12568 Broadway St., Ste. 190, Pearland, by late November or early December. Besides jambalaya, the restaurant is known for its boudin, gumbo and pastalaya, or jambalaya made with pasta instead of rice.
