Kelly and Christel Burmaster will open 2920 Roadhouse in March 2017 at 21835 FM 2920, Hockley. The restaurant bar and grill will be located in the present home across from New Kentucky Park and will offer steak, appetizers, salads, soups, entrees, sides and beverages. Kelly said the couple hopes to fashion their 23-acre site into something like the former New Kentucky Township, a township which has roots in Texas' war for independence. "The unearthed past history of the property birth a desire within us to revitalize and rebuild the once thriving New Kentucky Township," Kelly said. The restaurant will be reminiscent of the late 1800s and will also feature a gift shop and 4-acre lake.
