A new 72,000-square-foot Academy Sports + Outdoors opened Nov. 6 in the Fairfield Towne Center at 28616 Hwy. 290, Cypress. The Katy-based sporting goods chain sells equipment, clothing and shoes for sports, fitness and outdoor activities.
