HCA Healthcare plans to add two floors to Kingwood Medical Center’s south tower in 2018. The structure currently has three floors, and its new fourth floor will be shelled for expansion in the future while the fifth floor will house 38 new critical and intermediate care beds. Once the project is completed, the center, located at 22999 Hwy. 59 N., Kingwood, will have 411 beds. Construction is slated to be largely completed in June, and the additions should open in August.
