Ruiz Studios Home Decor was closed for more than 40 days due to damage from Tropical Storm Harvey, and recently reopened after being closed for their Oct. 1 anniversary.

Ruizstudios Home Decor, which had its first anniversary Oct. 1 at 5625 Second St., Katy. The store closed for repairs due to Tropical Storm Harvey but has since reopened in mid-October. The store sells home and garden accessories, candles, luxury bedding, kitchenware, furniture and other items.
