Local resident and city engineer Hisham Khweis along with wife Olga and friend Mustafa Awab will open the Tahini Plus on Friday at 6180 Hwy. 6, Ste. A, Houston with healthy, buffet-style Mediterranean options including shawarma, falafel, pita, hummus, seasoned rice, homemade sauces and dressings.
Between May 12-14, guests can purchase a raffle ticket to be entered into a drawing to win free shawarma for a year. Proceeds will be donated to the Langham Creek YMCA. 832-906-6124.
