Jersey Village resident Nancy Frankel has started a Little Free Library to promote literacy through free book exchanges and will celebrate a grand opening and ribbon cutting Saturday, Feb. 18 at 9:30 a.m. at the corner of Acapulco Drive and Jersey Drive, Jersey Village. “Little Free Library books are always a gift—never for sale,” Frankel said. “I am so excited to be the steward for the Little Free Library #49744 on behalf of our neighbors and our community.” Frankel, a retired Cy-Fair ISD employee, has stocked the library with books available for anyone to take. The books are meant to be kept, and people are encouraged to return and contribute books of their own. www.littlefreelibrary.org
