The newest franchise location of N Zone Sports in the Cypress area is now registering players for the spring 2017 season. The organization offers competitive league play in flag football, soccer and cheerleading. Soccer and flag football leagues are available for children ages 3-14, and cheerleading leagues cover ages 5-12. Games take place at Smith Middle School, 10300 Warner Smith Blvd., Cypress. Dave Dorsey, founder of the Cypress branch, said the league is unique in that all games and practices occur on Saturday. Practice times are scheduled for the hour immediately preceding the game, which also lasts about an hour, he said. "This is great for working parents that want to spend time with their children," Dorsey said. Additional services include preschool training, sports camps and birthday parties.
