Christine Prohl, owner of Dragon's Lair, chose 21151 Hwy. 249, Ste. A, Houston as her comic shop's future location because she loved the surrounding neighborhoods and fell in love with Lakewood Forest Plaza. The shop, to open December 3, will operate as a full service comic and game store, carrying everything from comic books, graphic novels and Manga to table top games including Catan, Pandemic and Ticket to Ride. The store will also feature a large kids' section. Dragon's Lair will host many organized play events and family game nights. Prohl said she welcomes any gaming groups to meet at her shop as well.
