An assisted-living and memory care facility, Apex Oaks at Cypress, opened September 2 at 13702 Wimbledon Oaks Drive, Houston. The facility offers numerous amenities, including indoor walking paths, a beauty salon, laundry service, reminiscence therapy and a full schedule of on-site activities. The assisted living component of Apex Oaks will be open in 2017. Staff include a visiting nurse, physical therapist and speech therapist in addition to 24-hour awake care givers.
