Dollar General’s newest store will hold a grand opening event Saturday, Aug. 3, at 19120 FM 529, Cypress.

Starting at 8 a.m., shoppers can take advantage of free prizes and special deals throughout the store. The first 50 adults at the store will receive a $10 gift cards, and the first 200 shoppers will receive a tote bag with product samples, according to a press release.

Dollar General stores offer national name brands as well as private brands of food, housewares, seasonal items, cleaning supplies, apparel and health and beauty products.
