California-based Creamistry, a franchise that specializes in made-to-order liquid nitrogen ice cream, is expected to open this summer at Miramesa Town Center, 8931 Fry Road, Cypress, according to a press release. Customers can pair one of more than 30 flavors with an ice cream base—including premium, organic, vegan coconut or non-dairy sorbet. Topping options range from candy and cookies to fruits and sauces. The creation is flash frozen in front of the customer with liquid nitrogen at -321° F. “Everybody loves ice cream. It’s just one of those things that puts smiles on everyone’s face and Creamistry is no different. But the ice cream that we will serve most certainly is,” owner Himmad Khan said in a statement. “It does not get any fresher; it’s all made right in front of you. We handcraft every scoop. It’s like a factory just for you, one scoop at a time.” With several locations already operating across the Greater Houston area, officials said another location is slated to open later this summer in Vintage Park. www.creamistry.com
