Robin Turell, Ruby Herron and Sean Price expanded Figment Ranch at 17102 Mueschke Road, Cypress, to add an event center mid-October. The venue hosts weddings, family reunions, quinceaneras, holiday parties, fundraising events, corporate events, retreats, photoshoots and other private events.
A cottage known as Gerrie’s Place and a gift shop is also on-site. Officials said they rescued most of the animals on the property, including llamas, alpacas, turkeys, goats, chickens, exotic birds, pigs, sheep and tortoises, among others. 713-249-3893. www.figmentranch.com
