The Cypress Walmart Supercenter at 26270 Hwy. 290, Cypress, celebrated a grand reopening Friday, Sept. 29, after a new Pickup Tower completed the remodel. The tower functions as a high-tech vending machine from which customers can retrieve their online orders by scanning a barcode on their smartphone.
This remodel follows the Cypress Walmart Supercenter’s launch of WalmartOnline Grocery Pickup on June 12 and also includes:
- an increase from four to eight self-checkouts
- a new electronics department with interactive displays
- upgraded pharmacy
- extended selection in the hardware department
- enhanced cosmetics area with new counters
- polished concrete flooring throughout
