The first Chronic Tacos in Texas is planning to open up at 20212 Eva St., Ste. 200, in Montgomery this summer, according to franchise location owner Pam Arquitt. Arquitt said all of the Mexican grill's recipes are third-generation and a walk-up line allows customers to view their orders being made in front of them. The Southern California-based franchise offers burritos, tacos, quesadillas and curbside pickup. Although the restaurant does not have a phone line set up yet, Arquitt said they plan to start a nine-week construction process after the permits are finalized, and then begin hiring employees within the next few months.
